How We Take Better Care of Your Dog

let your dog sleep in the bed with us if you like (just like home!);

only use filtered water;

give your dog treats if allowed;

do not go to dog parks, preferring outdoor open walks instead;

give your dog medication as needed;

provide a loving environment.

Enroll the fur ball in boot camp, an extended overnight training that teaches basic commands and helps with socialization. Services and Rates

Dog Training

Private lessons for you and your dog with expert advice ranging from behavioral issues to tricks to good puppy social skills and everything in between. Aaron is a graduate of the renowned Karen Pryor Academy and is certified to work with your dog.

DOG TRAINING (at your home):
$225 per hour

DOG TRAINING PACKAGES:
5 lessons - $1075
10 lessons - $2025

DOG BOOTCAMP (intense personalized training program):
7 days - $2000 (7 day minimum)

Holidays are an additional $25 for any dog training service.

Schedule training for your dog

Dog Hiking

We will pick up your dog and ensure he or she gets a 60 to 90 minute hike. We guarantee your dog has plenty of fresh water and food (if needed) upon our exit from your home. We also guarantee that your dog receives one-on-one attention, and possible playtime with other canine companions. We do not take dogs to dog parks unless requested.

DOG HIKING:
$50 per hike

Holidays are an additional $25 for any dog hiking service.

Dog Boarding

Ensure your pet is safe, secure and loved when you are travelling. We will arrange for cage-free boarding in our home or at your home for your pet.

OVERNIGHTS:
1 dog - $100 per night
2 dogs - $150 per night

Holidays are an additional $25 for any dog boarding service.

Meet the Pets in the City Team

Aaron Hill, Owner

I grew up in Virginia and Colorado surrounded by animals. My family had a menagerie of dogs, cats, horses, turtles - you name it, we fed it. Thus I think my affection for animals is an inherent part of who I am - I don’t know life without them. I just love them naturally and prefer them to most people! My wife and I never had kids, mostly because we think our two basset hounds, Beau and Bronco, are people.

Leigh Oblinger Hill

“I’ve gone to the dogs!” That’s what I’ve told everyone since I left a successful career in Hollywood working as a producer at Access Hollywood. I fell in love with what my husband was doing (hard not to when there are 20+ dogs around you all the time!!) and in 2019 joined him full time. Taking care of the dogs is challenging, but extremely rewarding. Each and every dog we work with becomes like family to us, and we treat them like our own.

Bill Lupo, Vice President

I grew up on a farm in northern California with horses, cows, pigs and two German shepherds. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, which is why I love working for Pets in the City and taking great care of all the pups (and the occasional cat!). I treat all of the Pets in the City animals as if they are my own and I feel that taking care of them is a privilege. When I’m not walking dogs, I play guitar in my band.
